Terms of Service
The short version. Hamsa helps you track how you feel and prepare for clinician visits. It is not medical care. It is a beta (a test version) that may change or have problems. Your data is yours - see the Privacy Policy.
Agreeing to these terms
These terms are an agreement between you and Hamsa AI, Inc.. By replying agree in WhatsApp, or by using Hamsa, you accept these terms and the Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, you will not be able to use Hamsa.
Who can use Hamsa
You must be 18 or older and live in the United States. During the beta, Hamsa is available by invitation only.
Not medical advice
- Hamsa is for personal tracking and reflection. It does not diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any condition, and it does not replace a clinician.
- No clinician reads your messages or monitors your answers.
- Questionnaire results are screening information, not a diagnosis.
- Patterns Hamsa shows are observations from your own entries and devices, not medical conclusions. When it says two things went together, that is not a claim that one caused the other.
- Your Hamsa Composite score and your menopause stage are worked out by fixed rules from what you entered. They are estimates to discuss with a clinician, not test results.
- Answers in Ask Hamsa are calculated from your own check-ins. An AI service may put them into friendly words; we check that wording against your data before sending it, but it can still be imperfect.
- The Clinician Report summarises what you entered so you can share it if you choose. It is not a medical record, and Hamsa never sends it to anyone for you.
- Always talk to a qualified clinician about your health, and never delay or ignore medical advice because of something Hamsa showed you.
Emergencies
Hamsa is not for emergencies, and no one watches your messages in real time. If you are in crisis or thinking about harming yourself, call or text 988 (US). For any emergency, call 911. If you mention harming yourself in Hamsa, it will show you crisis contacts, but it cannot send help.
Messages
Hamsa works over WhatsApp, so WhatsApp's own terms also apply to you. We send reminders on the schedule and at the time you choose. If you have no reminders set and haven't checked in for a while, we may send an occasional nudge. Now and then we may ask, inside a check-in, how Hamsa is working for you; answering is optional. Reply STOP to turn off reminders and nudges, or change your reminder settings at any time. Standard data charges from your carrier may apply.
Text messages
Hamsa check-in reminders. If you sign in on our website we text you a one-time code. If you choose text reminders, we text you a reminder to check in on the days and at the time you pick: at most one message a day. Choosing text reminders is optional and is not a condition of using Hamsa. Message and data rates may apply. Text STOP to stop reminders at any time, and START to turn them back on; text HELP for help, or email bindu@hamsa-ai.com. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. How we handle your mobile number is in our Privacy Policy; we never share it for marketing.
Beta
Hamsa is in beta. Features may change, be removed or not work as expected, and the service may be unavailable at times. We welcome your feedback, and we may use it to improve Hamsa without owing you anything for it.
Using Hamsa responsibly
- Use Hamsa only for yourself, with your own phone number.
- Do not access other people's data, disrupt the service, or reverse-engineer it.
- Give information that is accurate to the best of your knowledge - your reports are only as good as your entries.
Your data and our service
You own the information you give us. You allow us to use it to provide Hamsa to you, as described in the Privacy Policy. Hamsa itself - its software, content, questionnaires' presentation, design and name - belongs to Hamsa AI, Inc..
Ending your use
You can stop at any time, and reply delete data to erase your records. We may suspend or end access if these terms are broken, or if we stop offering Hamsa; where we can, we will tell you first and give you a chance to export your data.
Disclaimers
Hamsa is provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent the law allows, we make no warranties, express or implied, including about accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose, or uninterrupted availability.
Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, Hamsa AI, Inc. is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for decisions made based on information in Hamsa. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California.
Changes to these terms
If we change these terms in a way that matters, we will ask for your agreement again in WhatsApp before continuing.
